Notifications aren’t showing up

Check that notifications are enabled for Sacred Time in your iPhone’s Settings → Notifications. If you previously declined the permission, you’ll need to enable it there directly, since iOS does not allow apps to re-prompt for a denied permission.

Blocking isn’t starting

Sacred Time’s app blocking relies on Apple’s Screen Time permission (Family Controls). Confirm the permission is granted in Settings → Screen Time, and that the sacred window you expect to be active actually covers the current time. If you’ve recently changed your selected apps or categories, give the window a moment to refresh.

Changing selected apps or categories

Open the sacred window you want to change and edit its app or category selection there. Changes apply the next time that window becomes active.

Pausing or stepping out of an active window

While a sacred window is active, you’ll see Pause, Step out, and Mark complete on the active window card. Step out asks one gentle, honest question first, then lets you through immediately — none of these actions require typing, waiting, or a premium subscription.

Premium, restoring purchases, and cancelling

If a premium purchase isn’t reflected in the app, use the restore purchases option in Settings within the app, signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. If it still doesn’t appear, email us and we’ll help sort it out.

To cancel a subscription, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select Sacred Time, and choose Cancel Subscription.
