I built Sacred Time because I do not want my phone to get the best of me while God and my family get what is left.
As a Christian, husband, and father, I know how easy it is to reach for my phone before prayer, scroll during quiet moments, or be in the room with my family while my attention is somewhere else.
Sacred Time is not about shame. It is a small boundary to help us return to Christ and the people He has placed in front of us.

Sacred Time is intentionally built from a Christian perspective. Anyone who wants a calmer, grace-based way to protect meaningful time can use it, but the heart of the app is Christ-centered.
Is this just a screen-time blocker?+
No. Sacred Time uses app blocking as a boundary, but the purpose is bigger than reducing screen time. It helps protect moments for prayer, Scripture, family, worship, Sabbath rest, and Christ-centered rhythms of attention.
Is Sacred Time a Bible app?+
No. Sacred Time is not a Bible reader or devotional feed. It includes a short guided moment with a prayer and a verse from the Berean Standard Bible, but the goal is to help you put the phone down and return to the moment you set apart.
How does app blocking work?+
You create a Sacred Window and choose the apps or categories to pause during it. While that window is active, Sacred Time helps shield those apps and gently points you back to the moment you set apart. This uses Apple's Screen Time permission.
What moments can I protect?+
Morning prayer, Bible time, family dinner, child bedtime, Sunday worship, Sabbath rest, date night, quiet time, and other Sacred Windows you want to set apart.
What if real life changes?+
Sacred Time is grace-based. You can move a window, pause briefly, take a moment when you need your phone, skip a day, or begin again. The goal is not perfection.
Will Sacred Time block emergency access?+
Sacred Time is designed with flexible exits, and you can always pause or leave a window from the app. Apple's Screen Time decides what can be blocked. Phone calls generally stay available, but other apps can behave differently depending on your settings. If you need to stay reachable, leave Phone and Messages unselected when you use Block specific apps, and include them when you use Allow specific apps. Try it once before you rely on it. You remain responsible for keeping emergency access available on your device.
Does Sacred Time use AI?+
No. Sacred Time does not use AI in the current app.
Do I need an account?+
No. Sacred Time does not require an account. Your Sacred Rhythms, Sacred Windows, and reflection history are stored on your device, with a private backup in your own iCloud.
Where is my data stored?+
Your Sacred Rhythms, Sacred Windows, and reflection history are stored on your device. A private backup in your own iCloud keeps them safe if you delete the app or get a new iPhone. We can't see it. Purchase information is handled separately through the App Store and any purchase services used to manage premium access.
Will I lose my rhythms if I get a new iPhone?+
No. Sacred Time backs up to your own iCloud and brings everything back when you install it again, signed in to the same Apple Account. You will need to allow Screen Time and notifications again, and may need to choose your apps again.
Is there a free version?+
Sacred Time is free to start, with two Sacred Rhythms and daily and weekly reflection. Premium adds unlimited rhythms and full monthly and yearly reflection, for $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year in the US, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
