How it works
Choose a sacred window.
Pick a time for prayer, Scripture, family dinner, child bedtime, Sunday worship, Sabbath rest, date night, or quiet time.
Choose the distractions to pause.
Select the apps or categories that usually pull your attention away from that moment.
Return to what matters.
When a protected app opens, Sacred Time gives a gentle reminder, a short prayer or prompt, and a way back to the moment you set apart.
Why Sacred Time exists
Your phone should not get your first attention while God and family get what is left.
Most days, the phone wins by default — not because it matters more, but because it is always close, always loud, and always ready. Prayer waits. Scripture waits. Family waits. Rest waits.
Sacred Time is a quiet boundary that helps you decide ahead of time what gets protected: prayer, bedtime, dinner, worship, Sabbath, and the ordinary moments Christ has entrusted to you.
It is not about guilt. It is not about earning screen time. It is not about turning faith into a score.
It is about attention, presence, and grace.
Built on trust
A note from the founder
I built Sacred Time because I do not want my phone to get the best of me while God and my family get what is left.
As a Christian, husband, and father, I know how easy it is to reach for my phone before prayer, scroll during quiet moments, or be in the room with my family while my attention is somewhere else.
Sacred Time is not about shame. It is a small boundary to help us return to Christ and the people He has placed in front of us.

Frequently asked questions
What is Sacred Time?+
Sacred Time is a Christ-centered app blocker that helps Christians protect phone-free moments for prayer, family, worship, and rest.
Who is Sacred Time for?+
Sacred Time is for Christians who want help creating better phone boundaries around prayer, Scripture, family dinner, child bedtime, Sunday worship, Sabbath rest, date night, and quiet time.
Is Sacred Time only for Christians?+
Sacred Time is intentionally built from a Christian perspective. Anyone who wants a calmer, grace-based way to protect meaningful time can use it, but the heart of the app is Christ-centered.
Is this just a screen-time blocker?+
No. Sacred Time uses app blocking as a boundary, but the purpose is bigger than reducing screen time. It helps protect moments for prayer, Scripture, family, worship, Sabbath rest, and Christ-centered rhythms of attention.
Is Sacred Time a Bible app?+
No. Sacred Time is not a Bible reader or devotional feed. It may offer short prayers, blessings, or prompts, but the goal is to help you put the phone down and return to the moment you set apart.
How does app blocking work?+
You create a sacred window and choose the apps or categories to pause during it. While that window is active, Sacred Time helps shield those apps and gently points you back to the moment you set apart. On iPhone, this uses Apple's Screen Time permission. Android support is planned and will work differently.
What moments can I protect?+
Morning prayer, Bible time, family dinner, child bedtime, Sunday worship, Sabbath rest, date night, quiet time, and other sacred windows you want to set apart.
What if real life changes?+
Sacred Time is grace-based. You can move a window, pause briefly, step out when needed, skip a moment, or begin again. The goal is not perfection.
Will Sacred Time block emergency access?+
Sacred Time is designed with flexible exits like Pause and Step out, and those actions are never gated behind premium. When choosing apps to pause, avoid selecting Phone, Messages, or other emergency apps. You remain responsible for keeping emergency access available on your device.
Does Sacred Time use AI?+
No. Sacred Time does not use AI in the current app.
Do I need an account?+
No. Sacred Time does not require an account. Your sacred rhythms, sacred windows, and reflection history are stored locally on your device.
Where is my data stored?+
Your Sacred Rhythms, Sacred Windows, and reflection history are stored locally on your device. There is no cloud sync or account-based sync. Subscription and purchase information is handled separately through the App Store and any purchase services used to manage premium access.
Is there a free version?+
Sacred Time is free to start, with two sacred rhythms and a weekly reflection. A premium upgrade unlocks unlimited rhythms and fuller monthly and yearly reflection.
